Commencing judgment:
The trumpeters' soliloquy resonating across the brewing monsoon
In requiem of days yet to come
My vehement breath shreds the veil betwixt heaven and earth
Revealing spherical wisdoms
Memoirs of being penned into crumbling scripture
The tablature of the choirs who sing discord
The blessed nativity births redemption and ruin
A scourged Messiah
Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer
What a BEAST of an album. When it comes to blending black metal and mathcore, these guys and Hoplites are the clear leaders of the pack. This album is sheer annihilation of everything in it's path. Pure chaos and destruction. And it is beautiful. Ryan
