lyrics
To walk these fields plagued with rust
To see the world as it will become
Void of life, turning alone
Languished and withering
Beseeched by soil for their decease
Their monuments beside and buried
Melding as stone and bone
Disintegrate against an unveiled sun
Claim to be My equal
Yet where were you before the Genesis?
Oh, Adam, ye are but a fragile mirror that I AM compelled to destroy
Therefore, wait for Me for the day of My indignation
Where all shall gather beneath pouring magma
And they will be devoured by the fire of My zeal
Thus, renewing their anger towards Me
A curse consumes the earth
My wrath is slow but it doth not fail
Whosoever flees the terror is fallen
Whosoever climbs the pit is ensnared
Brought low and abased
They beg for wine
They shall come from afar
His instruments of derelict
By the breath of God
By the blast of His anger
Many will cry
"No, we are perished"
On that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above
And the kings on the earth below, they will be herded together
Like prisoners bound they will be shut up and tortured for many days
Dismaying the moon and shaming the sun
No more, is the pain of My Mother
Whose waning breath vomits molten iron
Flooding the earth again, turning every color to a shade of brown
Men, women and children piled as one
Ye shall fade away
Walk these fields plagued with rust,
See the world as it becomes void of life
Turning alone

Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer

What a BEAST of an album. When it comes to blending black metal and mathcore, these guys and Hoplites are the clear leaders of the pack. This album is sheer annihilation of everything in it's path. Pure chaos and destruction. And it is beautiful. Ryan
